I'm Alistair Stead, and I build Spacetile through Kodehort, my software company. I used yabai for years, and I tried AeroSpace for a while, which swaps Spaces for workspaces of its own. What I really wanted was automatic tiling that stayed closer to how the Mac already works: alongside Spaces and Mission Control, not instead of them. So I built Spacetile. It tiles the real Spaces as windows open, and a Profile puts each app back on its Space when a Focus turns on or a display connects. Its source is available so you can check what an app with Accessibility permission does on your Mac.
One price, no subscription
Spacetile is a single purchase. So much software is sold by subscription now, and I didn't want a window manager to become another monthly bill. The price is there to cover what it costs me to keep Spacetile working as macOS changes. A Licence costs £20 (about $27), one-time, includes VAT. It covers every version released in the 12 months after you buy, and the versions it covers keep working after that.
